28 April Update
Today's update includes a bunch of monster adjustments and a lot of fixes to areas and minor updates.I am currently not taking the time to list everything that is changing, as the beta realm is a couple of days behind what we have in the office. I am aiming to get the gap between what we have and what is being tested smaller.
Tomorrow's update will include a wipe.

Aura Reservation and Reduced Mana Support Gem Change
We're trying out a change to aura costs, the Reduced Mana support, and the Enlighten gem on Beta. This change involves reducing the base mana reservation on reservation skills, changing the Reduced Mana gem to only apply to costs but with a much greater reduction, and having the Enlighten support gem reduce reservation and cost at lower values than Reduced Mana gave.These are the intended results of the change:
As they no longer work with Reduced Mana, we can make reservation costs less mana intensive for characters that previously wouldn't have access to Reduced Mana, and reduce socket pressure for players that previously would have needed a Reduced Mana support to reach the same reservation levels.
Enlighten becomes a much more desirable support. It now gives an option for end-game builds that are willing to give up sockets to reduce reservation, without the support being so impactful that every build that uses auras feels that it's absolutely necessary.
Reduced Mana can have much higher values than previously, making it a better choice for reducing skill mana costs.It's worth noting that a very high level Enlighten gem can reduce aura reservation costs to the point of the old Reduced Mana support and below, and that aura reservation costs are now often lower than otherwise possible until player level 45. We're also planning to increase the power of Mana passives in the tree that will give mana constrained builds more access to larger total mana pools.
There is NO WIPE with this update. This is a set of minor adjustments, while we clean up the build for a major patch for next week. Note: This does not include Lockstep yet, although I am hoping we can get something up next week.
This is not a comprehensive list of changes, just some highlights.
Further adjustments to chance of Torment Spirits occurring.
Vigilant Strike no longer has the Duration tag.
Several Aura reservations costs have been reduced.
Enlighten now has a mana multiplier instead of affecting gem experience gain.
Reduced Mana now no longer affects the mana cost multiplier, it just has reduced mana cost stat & Quality (so will not affect Aura reservations).
Enhance now has 115% mana Cost Multiplier.
Fixed Impact Sounds not being on the Maraketh Two Hand Swords & Two Hand Maces.
Reduced local crit on the Maraketh Two Handed Axes.
Hook Swords have had their implicit changed, slowed in speed.
Frostwall has changed, there may be further changes.
Reduced the amount of overkill damage turned into Ignite and the radius on herald of Ash.
Chaos Golem balance has been adjusted.
Damage adjusted on Arctic breath.
Flameblast adjusted slightly (denerfed slightly in light of other changes).
Freezing pulse damage adjusted.
Skill Balance on Sweep, Ball Lightning and Ice Nova.
Clarity has been rebalanced.
Balance changes to the explosion damage of Dominus' demons in higher difficulties.
Adjustments to crit on bows and staves.
Adjusted Mana Costs and increased the radius of Rain of Arrows.
Elemental Hit now has additional chance to cause status ailments. Damage changes (likely improved) are yet to come.
Several changes have been made to Jewels, however the rework of rare jewel mods is not yet ready.
Added currency items to Act 4 vendors these are currently a copy of the Act 3 currency vended currency.
Reduced area of effect on Lightning Tendrils.
The two passives prior to the Smashing Strikes notable have had their values swapped, the Critical Strike Chance and Damage were the wrong way around. -

21 May Patch
We have made some major improvements to Deterministic Lockstep. Most cases of residual desync should now be resolved. Please report any cases you encounter, with a detailed description of what you were doing and what you were fighting.The radius for Sweep has been increased.
There is a fix for a client crash related to Glacial hammer.
Some small changes have been made to quest vendors and the passive tree.
EDIT: We have added new gateways.

This patch contains a multitude of additions, such as the Rapture Device, as well as a wave of balance changes. These balance changes include:
Passive tree changes.
Fortify has been reduced to 20% damage reduction from hits.
New versions of - Shock Nova, Punishment, Arctic Armour .
Rebalances to: Ice Crash, Firestorm, Flame Totem, Herald of Ice, Herald of Thunder, Flameblast, Ethereal Knives, Lightning Arrow, Rain of Arrows, Searing Bond, Spark, Poison Arrow, Arctic Breath, and the Lightning, Fire and Cold Penetration supports.There is no wipe with this patch.
There is a known issue with Arctic Armour, where it may not appear to party members correctly. This was an existing problem with the skill, however it will be much more noticeable now that Arctic Armour can transition between areas. We are working on a fix for this issue.
EDIT: There is a known issue with a new side area in the Dried Lake. The entrance will appear, but will not let you enter the area.

- Map mods have been changed. Item rarity has been added as a bonus. Pack size has been removed as a mod. It is now a bonus for some map mods. Other map mods have been adjusted or changed. Quantity, rarity and pack size appear as "above the line" stats on a map now. There is stratification of the mods, so that additional mods combinations and values are introduced for level 74+ maps, and more for level 79+ maps. A more detailed manifesto post will be posted later today, and will outline specifics (such as only new maps getting new map mods).
- Some adjustments have been made to map drop chances.- Rarity bonus is increased, not more, so is less useful the more MF you have.
- Reflect is 13%, might be a random value.
- Slower recovery is now 20% at early levels, might be higher on higher maps.
- Never saw blood magic or other build-excluding mods in over 60 alts.
- EE gives 10% pack size, GG.
- Pack size is still a map mod, but doesn't show up on the mod list, only above the line.
- More magic monsters and bloodlines have been made into one mod. Same for more rares and nemesis.
- Your existing maps have not been adjusted to provide the new bonuses.
