    I've had the same problem earlier this week trying to update my cc details, as my old card had expired.

    The most important part appears to be the billing address. It has to match your profile's address, as well as the address associated with your cc. I would recommend going through the website instead of using the PS4 store, as the store errors appear to be different from the website ones.

    If the profile address doesn't match your cc address, then try changing that one first.

    If you've already tried entering a new card/updating an existing one several times, then your account may have been blocked for any further changes for 24hs.

    In my case changing the profile address, waiting 48hs and then using the full cc details, as displayed on the card, finally allowed me to add a new card to my account.
