  My name is Max Bouaraba, I'm a 46y. young master watchmaker in Germany, doing my own brand and beside my company is the general distributor of PARNIS in Germany.

  It's nice to see the growing acceptance of chinese watches and PARNIS in general. This forum same as many other forums are great supporters and yes: It's no big surprise because spoken in numbers, let's not forget that most watches out there are made in China/Fareast! "A watch is a watch" my teacher always told me, and so in the last 30 years I learned to respect all different kind of brands and manufacturers from the deepest valley up to the highest mountain. While many watch lovers dislike / not to say "hate" chinese made watches, I loved them eversince. Not only because they became soon my daily bread and butter, but because they are what they are: Affordable timepieces, in a way even luxury and most of all independant from the all over absorbent ETA. As a young manufacturer, in China, I'm still served as a customer. Asking ETA for a few hundred movements, you'll be served with arrogance and laugher.

  To the main thread line:
  When I started 2 years ago to think about, whal else to do / what business field to enter, I noticed, that there is a real need in PARNIS watches for those watch lovers, who dont like to import themselves in China with all the headache arround. I checked the whole europe market but I cant really find any PARNIS distributor. All Parnis watches were distributed by Chinese sellers only. "Why is this so" I wondered? Beside, I found many threads about "who is Parnis" and many, many different answers. Most people said, that PARNIS is no real brand but a synonym for hommage watches. Others said, that there is not even a real PARNIS watch factory. Instead - so they said - PARNIS watches are produced by many Guangzhou and Shenzhen manufacturers and then distributed through many sales channels.

  If this is what you have basically in mind about PARNIS, then please erase this immediate
  PARNIS is a real and almost worldwide registered brand. Most important to this, they are also registered in China and even in Europe (through Alicante). Why is it important for PARNIS to be also registered in China? It's because within China, Chinese Companies do mostly respect other chinese Trademarks and Brands. If they dont, they easily get in trouble through their own law system.

  All PARNIS watches come from only one manufacturer.
  If you think about a little, it will fast make sense to you, because no matter where you buy your PARNIS: You will not detect any slightly differences in the making which would 100% occur, if PARNIS watches would be produced by douzend of different factories. As a matter of fact: They are not. All the different sellers who even call themselves the real PARNIS are "just" wholesalers like us. The real PARNIS Watch Manufactury dont appear in public at all / they have no website and they leave their business with the outside world to us distributors. They hardly even speak english! Even GETAT buys all components from them and then assemble the watch to the customers desire.
