  Németországi munkavégzés erős angol és kezdő német nyelvtudással!

  1 x Erding, München

  Salary: Netto 40 Euro / Hour

  Length: 6 months++

  Team size: Department has circa 40 staff members divided across 4 sections and 4 regions. The project will span across 3 of these sections and will be driven primarily from Germany.
  German: not required for profession. All documentation and professional communication is done in English.

  Major Responsibilities:

  Overall database technical responsibilities, also encompassing the integration of add-on commercial database products suites
  Customization, maintenance and support under 24x7 rigorous operational conditions
  Close integration work with various development teams for supporting and promoting products, features, and releases
  Problem determination & debugging
  Diagnostic and tuning strategy for demanding OLTP applications, including SQL optimization
  Planning, scheduling and securing database backups
  Documentation
  Possible involvement in On-call support
  Working closely with IT project managers, Development and Operational support teams
  Communicating regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security
  Commissioning and installing new DB solutions

  Qualification & Requirements for the position:

  1. Qualification (School, university, equivalent, etc.)

  University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  5+ years experience in Operational environments supporting the RDBMS of choice for the position (Oracle or MySQL)
  RDBMS Certification a plus
  Strong experience with High-Availability concepts and strategies, like Clustering, Real Application Clusters and Data Guard

  2. Know How / Skills

  Strong core technology skills with hands-on exposure on latest or mainstream engine versions and features (2 RDBMS at least)
  Field experience in supporting critical production HA workloads
  Advanced HW, OS, and SAN infrastructure knowledge
  Good scripting knowledge (i.e. shell, perl, python)
  Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  Strong personality with good communication and consulting skills and experience in multinational environment
  Strong skills in technical project work and project management
  Proactive minded in mitigating/avoiding foreseeable issues
  Perfect English verbal and written communication
  Acceptance to enroll into on-call as well as supporting out of business hours activities when necessary

  3. Relevant Job Experience

  5+ years as DBA under acute 24x7 operational conditions
  Presentation of referrals in case requested
