Improved manual scanning window (Scan Wizard):
This beta introduces the new Scan Wizard that offers better support for various display scaling settings and multi-display setups, while retaining the functionality and look-and-feel of the previous Scan Wizard. With the new Scan Wizard, it is also possible to have multiple manual scanning tasks ongoing at the same time (except for multiple parallel scans in the "system scan" phase).
Known limitations of the new Scan Wizard (these will be addressed in future beta releases):
- Manual scans are not recorded in the Event history ("View recent events").
- Manual scans do not run properly in situations when the scanning engines are being updated.Dark blue theme
F-Secure has changed the brand color from cyan to dark blue. The new color is now used also for the fs protection theme.
Fixed issues:
- Internet Security renewal subscription text updated (PBL-5683)
- Product upgrade is very slow (PBL-5786)
- Subscription key in settings should be selectable (PBL-5790)
- About dialog links don't follow the style (PBL-5821)

We're releasing today a new F-Secure Internet Security Technology Preview version, ISTP 68. You should see a upgrade notification within 24 hours of receiving this e-mail. Please note that the upgrade notification is only in English even if you have installed our product in some other language.
In addition to bug fixes and small improvements here and there, Online Safety has two new features:
- Safe Banking
- Safe SearchSafe Banking is designed to prevent banking trojan attacks. When it is turned on, Online Safety detects when the user is accessing a legitimate bank site and blocks all the accesses to other than that bank site. This blocks the banking trojans effectively when they try to redirect the network traffic to elsewhere.
Currently the amount of supported banks is limited. We would like you to try out your banks and report back to us if your bank is not supported. If you notice your bank is supported but you encounter problems with accessing it, please report that to us too.

Safe Search is implemented within our Web Filter. When turned on, it turns on your Internet search providers (Google, Bing and Yahoo) Safe Search mode on to filter out adult related search results.
