  Invitation to study in Denmark!

  Rørvig Folk High School for Development of Consciousness has since the last 27 years been a place, where one can get a big push forward in ones personal evolution. The school is supported by the Danish government and is based upon Vedic knowledge of how to evolve as a human being. Learning Transcendental Meditation is part of the course and included in the course fee.

  The school is situated in the most beautiful nature right by lake, ocean and beach. The school serves delicious, organic and vegetarian food.

  Students choose between five departments of knowledge
  Ayurveda health care * Music * Graphic Design * Art * Film and Theatre

  There are also common subjects for all students including topics as:
  • Consciousness - as the basis of all disciplines.
  • Transcendental Meditation – ™ to develop higher states of consciousness
  and release stress, blocks and old fatigue in mind and body.
  • Partnership and personal relationships – What are the mechanics and how can we improve them?
  • Innovation and creativity –what constitutes a great idea and how to get it
  • The Global Family – and the art of leaderships on all levels of creation
  • Physiology of enlightenment – Gaining understanding of the functioning of a fully developed body
  • Introduction to Maharishi Ayur-Veda with directions for diet and advice how to live life with maximum growth on all levels.
  • Yoga postures and breathing exercises - to create balance in the body.
  • Jyotish - vedic astrology and advanced time planning. How to gain understanding of ones own personality and character through the birth chart
  • Gandharva Veda - Vedic music and sound therapy with harmonizing influence on the nervous system
  • Indoeuropean Mythology – The ancient map of the personality and of the road to the soul
  • Ayur-Veda – The worlds most ancient and most holistic approach to perfect health
  • Developing full creative potential – Through research into consciousness and Introduction to advanced meditation sessions

  Please note
  A folk high school, which is not compatible to the high schools found in Anglo-Saxon countries, is a non-formal adult residential school. The folk high schools are part of a Danish tradition of popular education. The schools individually decide the content of the courses and there are no tests or exams.

  European Cirius Aid
  It is a great joy to be able to inform about the new possibilities to receive full scholarships to study at Rørvig Folk High School in Denmark for members from the new EU countries.
  Applicants for the Cirius scholarship must be citizens of, and have permanent residence in one of the following new EU-member states:
  Cyprus
  Czech Republic
  Estonia
  Hungary
  Latvia
  Lithuania
  Malta
  Poland
  Slovakia
  Slovenia
  Bulgaria
  Romania

  The course fee is paid by the Cirius scholarship, and participants only have to cover registration fee, travel expenses and pocket money. Scholarship is only given to those who can stay for the whole course from August 31th till December 20th 2008. The students have to be at least 17½ years old.

  The application for Cirius Aid is to be made as soon as possible, as the course will be from August 31th to December 20th 2008.

  All applicants should be able to speak and understand English.
