  "I would suggest you to try to restart the PC few times, then try again to install updates.

  Also rename the entire SofwareDistribution folder, then try to install again, follow the below steps to do this:
  1.Open an administrative Command Prompt window.
  2.Run the following commands, and press Enter after each command:

  • Net stop wuauserv

  • cd %systemroot%

  • Ren SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old

  • Net start wuauserv

  3. Try to install updates again."
