Effective from 15 March, 2016, NOOK will no longer sell digital content in the United Kingdom. The NOOK Store on NOOK devices sold in the UK, on the UK NOOK Reading App for Android, and at www.nook.com/gb will cease operation.
To meet your digital reading needs going forward, NOOK has partnered with award-winning Sainsbury's Entertainment on Demand to ensure that you have continued access to the vast majority of your purchased NOOK Books at no new cost to you. Further instructions on how to transfer your NOOK Books to a new or existing Sainsbury's Entertainment on Demand account will be sent to you by email over the coming weeks. Please ensure that you look out for these emails as they will contain important information on what to do next.
If you'd like to set up an account with Sainsbury's Entertainment on Demand before the transfer takes place, you can do so. Then look out for an email over the next 10 days containing a unique link to enable you to transfer your existing NOOK Library.
After 31 May, 2016, you will not be able to sign-in to your NOOK account or download your NOOK digital content on a NOOK device or app. It is important that you transfer your purchased NOOK Books to a new or existing Sainsbury's Entertainment on Demand account to ensure access after this date.
Please note that the library transfer to Sainsbury's includes NOOK Books only. If you have purchased magazines, newspapers, apps or videos from NOOK, visit our FAQs page for further instructions. On this same page, you'll also find more information on the changes we've announced and on the specific actions you'll need to take.

Nem vettem észre ilyesmit, de meghallgatózom majd... -
Reméljük jó lesz.
Én kifagyást tapasztaltam 1-2x (ez a ST with Glowlight, ugyanazzal a módszerrel rootolva, mint a sima ST), de töltőre dugva újraindult, bár a töltöttség 30-40% volt. Kivettem belőle az SD kártyát (nem tudom miért, talán úgy gondoltam, hogy azt nyomja a tok?), azóta jó. Igaz, mindennap olvasok vele, a kifagyást pedig mindig hosszabb szünet után tapasztaltam... -
Ezeket próbáltad?
Method #1. Use this if you haven't rooted your nook.
Press Settings on the touch pad, then Device, then "Unregister your Nook"
Below that press "reset to factory settings" & Confirm
It should reboot and be restored to the latest firmware you had installed.Method #2. Use this to go back to the firmware the nook was shipped with (use this if rooted)
This will actually restore it to the same exact way you got it from the store. It's the equivalent of restoring your computer with your installations disks.
Turn off your nook completely.
If you are at the "home" screen then hold power button for 3 seconds and choose "Power off" when prompted.
If you are in the screen-saver mode then hold power button for 10 seconds until screen will freeze or go blank, or text "Your nook is switched off" will appear.
With it off, hold the power button until the screen flickers black for a moment THEN CONTINUE to hold it for another 15 seconds. You won't see anything happen at this point - but the animated arrows will stop typically.
Repeat the above step 6 times in a row. YES, Six is the magic number that tells the nook to do a restore. At the six time screen will get half white- half black and it's a good sign!
Now press the Power Button once to turn on the nook.
The touch screen will go black with a description of what it's doing (restoring). This may take several minutes - do NOT stop it.Method #3. Note that this absolutely destroys your shelves, notes, and other information, and you will be asked to register your Nook with BN again.
Turn off your N2E completely.
Turn it on again by holding down power, and then,
as soon as the screen flashes, begin holding down the bottom page turn keys on the left and right of the device until the screen flashes with a message asking if you want to do a factory reset.
Click the home key twice, and you should be on your way.
To update to the latest software version, press the "My Library" button. While in the "My B&N Library" area tap "Check for new B&N content". It will get the new firmware and start updating the latest software. Again, this will take a while like above steps.↑ Although it didn't delete my side loaded epubs when i restored from 1.1.0 firmware to 1.0.0, but it would be a good idea to back up your content before restoring.

1.2.0 Nook ST Glowlight (skót barátunktól) root: pontosan ugyanazt a módszert követtem, mint a sima ST esetén (lsd vyndree korábban sokszor hivatkozott írását), nookmanager használatával, apk-k sd kártyáról installálásával - hibátlanul rootolta, a régi appok futnak, nookmanager felismerte a glow-t (settings-be bekerült vonatkozó pont).

Remélem hamarosan megjön skót barátunktól a Nook ST Glowlight. Azt tervezem, hogy eladom a Nook ST-omat, ami rootolva van. Le lehet-e venni a BN regisztrációt az eredeti állapot visszarakása nélkül (plusz a google jelszavakat is előtte), vagy a legtisztább egy teljes újrahúzás a eredeti állapotot mentett SD kártyáról? Most nem emlékszem, a mentés beregisztrált állapotban történt-e...
Előre is köszi.
Aztán ha megjött a Glo, majd hannuskát kérdezem root ügyben, kicsit bonyibbnak látszik, mint a sima ST-é volt... -

Szépen megy a Kindle a nook-on 3.1.0.30 (3.3.1.1. apk-t már nem tudja indítani, de az előző tök jó). A 3.2 valami vagy mostanában került fel, vagy elkerülte a figyelmemet, azt nem tudom megy-e.
Itt vannak egy csomó régivel együtt a lap alján. -

Gondoltam belevágok a rootolásba, de a SD kártya foglalatba nem akarnak bekattani a kártyák a helyükre (többet próbáltam, nem egyszerre). Ha kézzel nyomva tartom látja a kártyát, de egyébként nem
Van valami trükk, vagy csak simán pech és nem jó a kártyolvasó mechanikája?updét: nagy nehezen bekattant...bekapcs.

Tegnap este feltöltve ma reggelig 99%-ra ment le... a szag mindenhol jelen volt, még a külön rekeszben levő usb kábel is ilyen szagú.
Nagyon jó ez a nook, bár én minden kütyünek nagyon örülök. Pár könyvet felraktam, klassz.
Nem is tudom, érdemes-e rootolni, rengeteg epub könyvem is van, pedig nem is foglalkoztam a gyűjtésükkel kindle tulaj révén. Az aranycipőm is szórít...
NTGAppsAttack-kel rossz tapasztalat van logout cikk szerint, itt van valakinek felrakva, érdemes?

Itt is örülök, megjött ma a 29.-én este rendelt, elvileg 30.-án légipostázott Nook.
Kibontás közben elég intenziv illatok jöttek , de szerencsére csak új szag lehetett.
Bebootolt, wifit akart, de munkahelyen nem tudok nem céges cuccal kapcsolódni. Kikapcs, töltés.
Aztán jöhet az izgalmas okosítás...
Kicsit off:
Igazából még nem fogtam ilyet a kezembe (Kindle Keyboard 3G és Paperwhite van), de eddig kellemes meglepetés volt, nagyon jó fogása van, jó anyagokból, hátlap gyűjti az ujjlenyomatot. Klassz, hogy nyomógombbal is lehet használni, én ezt szeretem - a paperwhite-ot a feleségemnek vettem, sajnos komolyan vette.
