  We are looking for a

  Reference Data Service Manager

  For our Budapest Office

  The MS Reference Data group in Enterprise Data Group is responsible for engineering and deploying solutions that source, host and distribute enterprise level reference data for Morgan Stanley internal business processes. The main products are directory services, identity management, roles, organizational reference data and MS legal entity data. The group partners with and services many business units within the firm globally. (e.g. Institutional business, Retail business, Investment management…etc)
  The MS Reference Data Service Manager will be responsible for the following:
  • Incident & Problem Management for all the MSRD product areas.
  • Team Lead for MSRD production management and development resources in the Budapest office.
  • Project Manager for the MSRD Production Management.
  • Vendor Management for our L1 and L2 support resources.
  • Responsible for metrics gathering and evaluation.
  • Responsible for monitoring and providing input into the MSRD support budget.
  • Responsible for MSRD PM process review and improvements.
  • Outage Management - responsible for communicating and driving resolution of MSRD outages.

  Requirements:

  Technical Skills
  • Fluent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Mail/Calendar, MS Project, and Visio)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Broad technology skills in Unix, Linux and Mainframe
  • Previous experience in technical operations, system/application support or service management

  Professional Skills
  • At least 7 years of professional work experience
  • Effective people skills for coordinating between developers, users, support personnel and clients
  • Self starter, motivated and can work unsupervised
  • Structured/organized approach to projects and able to set and meet delivery dates
  • Understand and execute any part of a full production product cycle including; requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, production turnover, documentation and post- production support.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to operate in pressurized situations
  • Results oriented

  Skills desired:
  • ITIL Foundation or above
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience in Enterprise Data Concepts and Technology
