  We are looking for a

  IT Operations Coordinator

  For our Budapest Office

  You will be working as part of a global team that is responsible for managing the server and storage provisioning processes within a top tier Global Investment Bank. The role requires well-organized individuals who are able to manage and improve processes with a high volume of work. Excellent communication skills are required as you will be engaging internal customers, as well as colleagues in the global integration, engineering and operations teams. You will have a mixed workload that includes technical consultancy, delivering technical solutions and managing to deadlines. Experience in a distributed systems environment within a large organization and a broad technical knowledge with a background in Windows, UNIX or Linux operating systems would be advantageous.

  Responsibilities:
  • Managing and improving server and storage provisioning processes
  • Managing remote deployment teams to ensuring requests are completed within service level agreements
  • Managing communication to internal customers
  • Developing toolsets to assist with server and storage deployments
  • Taking part in server and storage capacity management, reporting
  • Working with global operations, engineering and integration teams

  Skills Required:
  • Windows and/or Linux solid level experience
  • Intermediate level in UNIX shell scripting languages and Perl
  • Familiarity with Service Management (ITIL)
  • Technical consultancy skills to be able to explain complex technical solutions to customers

  Skills desired:
  • Solid level in scripting languages, preferably Perl.
  • TCP/IP Networking and switched Ethernet topology
  • Understanding of storage (NAS, SAN) and server technologies (e.g. blade systems, resiliency)
  • Familiarity with Web technologies (HTML, JavaScript) and databases (SQL)
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel (Macros, Pivot tables & charts, External data connections)

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships across various IT organizations
  • Strong sense of personal responsibility and integrity
  • Ability to multi-task in a highly dynamic environment
