    Our client, a global leading provider of financial consultancy services is seeking candidates in:

    Java Developer

    Position

    Position description:

    Working on an Enterprise Content Management project. The team has conducted an extensive review of what content management is, and which applications are available to assist with it. As a result they have brought in-house an open source content management product called Alfresco. The work now is to „morganize” Alfresco, so that it will run comfortably in the company environment, and start to build instances to replace our current intranet publishing system. The tasks will involve design discussions, project management, Java programming and a thorough understanding of the infrastructure where Alfresco will run.

    Requirements:

    - 3-5 years experience
    - Strong knowledge of core Java (J2SE) concepts
    - Good knowledge of Java web development using JSP and Servlets
    - Strong knowledge of object oriented (OO) programming and concepts
    - Experience with SQL programming and relational databases
    - Good knowledge of XML and SOAP messaging
    - Advanced English knowledge is a must, both written and spoken

    Advantages:

    - Knowledge of service oriented architectures (SOA) programming and aspect orientation programming techniques
    - Experience with multithreaded and concurrent Java programming
    - Experience with DHTML and new techniques such as Ajax, Flex and Java Server Faces
    - Knowledge of Spring framework
    - Experience og using Hibernate framework to manage database access
    - Knowledge of content management systems
    - Experience with systems which categorize and organize information into hierarchies
