    Thanks for getting in touch, and I'm sorry to hear that you’re having issues with this transaction.

    I’ve had a look and what's happened here is that Helly Hansen Magyarors didn't take the money before the authorisation hold expired.

    When you make a purchase, the merchant first sends us a message that you owe them money – 38382 HUF in this case. Due to the way Curve processes transactions, we charge the money from your underlying card immediately and the merchant has up to 7 days to take the money from us. This is called an authorisation hold.

    If the merchant doesn't claim the money within 7 days, then we automatically return it to you. I can see the money was returned to you on 11/16/23; this should be reflected on your underlying bank statement within the following 1-5 working days.

    If you can't see this refund on your bank statement card ending 6101 within 5 working days from 11/16/23, please provide your bank with the following ARN (Acquirer Reference Number) and they should be able to locate it for you: "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx".

    Then, I can see that today, 11/16/23 the merchant sent an offline charge to recover the amount that had been refunded. Sometimes merchants process transactions 'offline.' This means that the payment isn't processed at the time you make the payment but later.

    We charge the card which is selected in the app at the time when the offline payment is processed. This means you'll receive the notification later, and it might not be on the card you had selected at the time you made the payment. If this is the case, you can use our 'Go Back in Time' feature to move your transaction to another card – you can learn more about it in our FAQs.

    This means you haven't been charged twice. Instead, you've been charged, refunded and charged again.
