Hát igazság szerint csak a HR-03 tudná rendesen lehűteni a karit, de érthető, hogy Alvin miért nem akar olyat venni... (drága) Jön a nyár csak melegebb lesz az a kártya.
Ha Én Alvin helyében lennék és tudnám, hogy a közel jövőben nem lenne nagyon időm játszani és váltanom kéne akkor én 7900GS-t vennék. De ezt ugyis Alvinnak kell majd eldöntenie.

Egyelőre ennyi... majd holnap még emelek rajta amennyit tudok. (AtiTool-al) CPU OC nincs az Asrock lap miatt, mert +200MHz-ért most nem fogok tuningolni majd veszek egy DS3/DS4 vagy egy QuadGT-t. Úgyis öcsémé lesz majd a gép csak 8600GTS/RV630-ra várok.

Pont van nálam egy Galaxy 7900GS 1,2ns Zalman VGA. Megnézzem mennyit megy? Ez most asszem 40k Gianninál és szerintem olyan 650/1900-ig simán felhúzom. Ha gondolod megnézem neked mennyit megy és majd küldök képeket ha gondolod MSN-en... valahol fel vagy nekem véve.

Hát 90 fok is elég durva... amúgy tudom, hogy az XT lenne a legjobb, főleg 47k-ért, de én ilyen forrón nem venném meg.
Jön a nyár csak melegebb lesz! Azok a Galaxyk meg mennek 660/1900-on is jóesetben!

Szerintem valami tuningos 7900GS-t vegyél (Galaxy) vagy egy X1950Pro-t. Bár nem tudom mit szólnak majd az 1400×1050-hez.
Olvastam, hogy nagyon melegszik a karid, szerintem így ne vedd meg...

Ha a pontok valósak, akkor a 8500 egy rakás kutyakaki... QX6700-el is gyenge pontokat kapott, amúgy kár volt ilyen procival tesztelni. Akinek QX6700-re tellik annak nem 8500/8600 lesz a gépében! Mellesleg a 8600GTS 3DMark alapján NEM veri meg az X1950XTX-et, sőt meg sem közelíti...

Mindenesetre akkor a Gen 1-es karikat még nem fogom egyből megvenni énsem! Az a 6800GT már megérett a cserére, de akkor 1-2 hónapig még húzom...

WE GOT UPDATES on the possible delay of G84 and G86. It looks like the April 17th date is on, but if they are going to launch with parts availabile on that day, you might be better off avoiding them.
The problem as we understand it is the 2D modes are not clocked down to where they should be. NV has a 2D clock that is a lot lower than the 3D clock which saves battery power and in general, makes things run cooler and quieter.
The bug we are told prevents them from clocking 2D down to a level lower than 3D increasing power substantially. Basically, when the parts should be clocked down in 2D where they spend most of their life, they instead run flat out.
Before you get one of these in a laptop or SFF machine, make sure this is not happening in the ones you buy.
Essentially it is game on, but beware Gen 1 parts. Now you know the why, not just the when. -

GeForce 8500 GT Outperforms 7600 GS?
It's no secret anymore .. we will start seeing GeForce 8600 GTS, 8600 GT and 8500 GT cards on April 17th and it seems that NVIDIA has plans for two more lower end models; 8400 GS and 8300 GS slated for late April or early May.
Get used to it: NVIDIA has a different naming for their low end G86 series - GeForce 8500 GT, 8400 GS and 8300 GS instead of 7300 GS, 7300 LE, 7100 GS based on G72 core.
According to VR-Zone, GeForce 8500GT is based on 80nm TSMC process and has 128-bit memory interface. From the looks of it the rest of the G86 family will be 128-bit as well so it will pose a great threat to ATi RV610 which has only 64-bit memory interface.
GeForce 8500GT will be clocked at 450MHz core and has 256MB DDR2 memory clocked at 400MHz (800MHz). It looks like its performance is slightly better than the current GeForce 7600 GS series. Its 3DMark06 scores (1280x1024) stand at 22xx and 3DMark05 (1024x768) scores around 42xx on a Core 2 Duo X6800 processor.
Its DX10 performance is yet to be seen. 8500GT will be priced between US$79 to US$99

Further GeForce 8600-Series Details
As you know NVIDIA will be releasing their series 8600 products quite soon. A lot of information has already leaked and is now slowly stacking up towards reliable data. Today Dailytech adds information towards the rumors as they claim to have been ''briefed'' with the latest information. FYI NVIDIA has not briefed the press just yet; so they likely got their paws on some documentation.
The products as speculated earlier will be GeForce 8600GTS, 8600GT and 8500GT graphics processors. NVIDIA’s GeForce 8600GTS and 8600GT are G84-based GPUs and target the mid-range markets. The lower-positioned G86-based GeForce 8500GT serves as the flagship low to mid-range graphics card.
At the top of the mid-range line-up is the GeForce 8600GTS. The G84-based graphics core clocks in at 675 MHz. NVIDIA pairs the GeForce 8600GTS with 256MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 1000 MHz. The memory interfaces with the GPU via a 128-bit bus. The GeForce 8600GTS does not integrate HDCP keys on the GPU. Add-in board partners will have to purchase separate EEPROMs with HDCP keys; however, all GeForce 8600GTS-based graphics cards feature support for HDCP.
GeForce 8600GTS-based graphics cards require an eight-layer PCB. Physically, the cards measure in at 7.2 x 4.376 inches and available in full-height only. NVIDIA GeForce 8600GTS graphics cards feature a PCIe x16 interface, unlike ATI’s upcoming RV630. GeForce 8600GTS-based cards still require external PCIe power. NVIDIA estimates total board power consumption at around 71-watts.
Supported video output connectors include dual dual-link DVI, VGA, SDTV and HDTV outputs, and analog video inputs. G84-based GPUs do not support a native HDMI output. Manufacturers can adapt one of the DVI-outputs for HDMI.
NVIDIA’s GeForce 8600GT is not as performance oriented as the 8600GTS. The GeForce 8600GT GPU clocks in at a more conservative 540 MHz. The memory configuration has more flexibility, letting manufacturers decide between 256MB or 128MB of GDDR3 memory. NVIDIA specifies the memory clock at 700 MHz. The GeForce 8600GT shares the same 128-bit memory interface as the 8600GTS. HDCP support on GeForce 8600GT is optional. The GPU and reference board design support the required HDCP keys EEPROM, however, the implementation is up to NVIDIA’s add-in board partners.
GeForce 8600GT-based graphics cards only require a six-layer PCB instead of the eight-layer PCB of the 8600GTS. The physical board size is also smaller too – measuring in at 6.9 x 4.376 inches. GeForce 8600GT-based cards do not require external PCIe power. NVIDIA rates the maximum board power consumption at 43-watts – 28-watts less than the 8600GTS.
The GeForce 8600GT supports similar video outputs as the 8600GTS, however, the 8600GT does not support video input features.
NVIDIA has revealed very little information on the GeForce 8500GT besides support for GDDR3 and DDR2 memory. It supports dual dual-link DVI, VGA and TV outputs as well.
Expect NVIDIA to pull the wraps off its GeForce 8600GTS, 8600GT and 8500GT next quarter.

New NVIDIA cards found in 101.41
I was just checking some files in the new drivers and it seems that NVIDIA made a small mistake with their latest released drivers. In the driver .inf file there are some new soon-to-be released graphics cards to be found
This will end any further speculation. Among the enw cards a 8800 Ultra, 8600 GTS and also a 8500 GT and 8400 GS model:

Kevés a pipa a kártyában azért ilyen ''játszhatatlan''... a 7900-asok is szerencsétlenkednek vele. ATi-kon (X1900-X1950) és 8800-asokon viszont szépen megy.

Jó tudom sokan nem szeretik a The Inquirer-t, de még igaz is lehet... Ha ezt egy Core 2 Duo-val csinálták akkor kb. 7900GS szinten lesz majd a kártya.

G84, Geforce 8600 to score 4500 in 3Dmark 06

NVIDIA'S Geforce 8600 cards, based on the G84 die, should score about 4500 points in famous 3Dmark06. This mainstream card will go into production in March or April time and it will still use the 128-bit memory interface.
The card is of course DirectX 10 compatible and with it Nvidia will beat ATI to market in this sub-$200 market segment. This card will compete ATI's Radeon X2600 cards also known as RV630s.
Our little source also told us that this Nvidia card has 160 square mm die and compared to ATI's 65 nanometre competitor it will end up bigger. We don’t know about the yields but the numbers will settle prior to the launch.
G84 is all Vista DirectX 10 ready and we hope that Nvidia can make the WHQL Vista driver before that date.
We are sure Graphzilla can do it but we thought we should give it a pinch before it finally gets its finger out.
Engem személy szerint érdekel a kártya egyből, de gondolom az NV majd ad egy rendes drivert 17.-re amikor hivatalosan is megjelenik!
Holnap este majd nyomok egy 3DMark05-öt is.
