a minap dgyurival való levelezés kapcsán felmerült, hogy miért is nem lehet a régebbi erősítőbe a régi dac helyett újat vásárolni (i22-be az i25 dac részlegét). egész egyszerűen ráírtam a primare-re és gondoltam kapok valami marketingszagú választ. azért nem teljesen. éjjel írtam, kora délután már reagáltak:
"In short we do not offer the DM35 module for the I22 due to the fact that the connector involved is no longer available and would require a modification to the main board. Additionally, the power supply in the I22 would need to be modified. If it were even possible to do, it would be cost prohibitive. As you suggest, the DAC in the DM35 is a considerable improvement over that in the DAC module for the I22, so too is the improvement in the preamplification stage and even more significantly for the amp stage of the I25 DAC, as we worked very hard to be certain that not only did the new model improve upon the past version for both performance and features, but also to surpass that of the I32. So, if a single box solution is what you are looking for, then the best recommendation for improving every level of your amplification with a DAC then the I25 DAC is the best choice by far, as you would not be able to have the level of performance possible if a DM35 board was able to be installed in your I22. That said, we did design the SC15 Prisma network player DAC with the idea that it would provide both improved DAC performance as well as the latest in streaming features and functionality for users of our past products, including the I22, should a two box solution with network player would work within your installation." - nyilván a valóságtartalmát nem tudom ellenőrizni, de logikusnak tűnik.
