Got very lucky to shoot this car late last year. It is actually Nobuteru Taniguchi's(HVI) personal street car and the most complete and well modified S15 I have come across. HKS engine tuning, of course, 380 PS, full Vertex Lang kit with a gull-wing door conversion coming soon, 19'' AVS wheels, Project µ brakes all round and full Bride interior trim. The center console features a custom integrated LCD navi screen and what Silvia would be without a Personal steering wheel...which just happens to be a special ''NOB''(''No One Better'') edition.

A pályán elég jók a japánok ezt nem vitatom, de azért azt is figyelembe kell venni, hogy a japán verziók pályára vannak belőve, mert ott sokan kimennek hétvégén a ringre, és nyomják neki, sőt úgye ezeken az autókon gyárilag sport gumi van, aminek jóbb a tapadása.. A németek meg elsősroban luxus autókat gyártanak, azért az M3-as se egy pehelysúlyú autó, sok az extra, meg hát azok nem pálya használatra lövik be az autót, hanem inkább az autóbahnra. viszont vanna nekik is külön olyan modelljeik, amiet hobbi versenyzőknek csinálnak, M3 CSL, Porsche GT3 Club sport/RS.
Tudom ez egy japó topic, de azért ne legyünk ennyire elvakultak.

Honda Civic Wins International Design Award
The red dot design award is one of the leading design competitions in the world, held annually by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen, Germany. An international jury selects the products of outstanding design quality in 11 categories which are not only related to car design but to product design in general.
The all-new Civic has won the “red dot: best of the best� award in the category of “Transportation.� The jury acknowledged that its overall design �marks a revolution,“ recognizing the innovation as well as the appeal and the high quality of the Civic’s design concept.
This year, 2,068 proposals from 41 countries were entered into the competition, and the “red dot: best of the best“ for highest design quality has been given to only 36 products, while 485 products received the “red dot“ quality label of design.
The Civic will become part of the exhibition for more than one year at the museum of the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen. The museum displays one of the largest exhibitions of contemporary design worldwide, featuring more than 1,000 products in over 4,000 square metres. In addition, the Civic will appear in the related yearbook, which is considered a standard work in the design field and shows current trends in the industry.
The history of this competition began in 1955 when outstanding international product design was marked with a dot; its present name “red dot“ was adopted in 1992, and the competition in its current style was established in 2000.

AMERICAN TOUGE 2 RELEASED
Hot Version International American Touge 2(AT2) DVD by Zigzag Asia will be released on March 30, 2006.
After the success of the first American Touge DVD, Zigzag Asia conducted an open casting call for US tuner cars to appear in the sequel AT2 to be tested and driven to the limits touge style by Keiichi ''Drift King'' Tsuchiya and his prote'ge' Yasuyuki Kazama. 33 cars divided into 4 different classes were chosen to battle it out to challenge last year's ''Touge Monster'', Comptech NSX. Hotties Kazumi Kondo and Verena Mei co-host the show.
Cars were divided into NA RWD, Turbo RWD, FR and AWD classes. Promising contenders from the first American Touge such as Hasport, Top Setup, Techno Toy Tuning, Vishnu and XS Engineering were there to avenge the Touge Monster title. Cars from grade A tuners such as the Mullerized EVO and AEM Civic Si were newly chosen along with several privateers with hopes they may have some surprises.
The Hot Version International AT2 is 90 minutes long with more detailed footage of American Touge 2 compared to the JDM version which was released earlier in Japan.

Honda Expands R&D Capabilities in America with Groundbreaking for Acura Design Center in California

Separately, the company is opening a new advanced design studio in Pasadena that will work to advance new future design concepts, giving Honda four R&D facilities in California.
''As we continue to deepen our roots in North America, Honda's U.S. R & D operations will play an increasingly important role in meeting the needs of our customers in North America and globally,'' said Hirohide Ikeno, President of Honda R&D Americas. ''The creation of this new facility will lead to the development of distinctive and leading edge designs that will further strengthen the appeal of Acura products.''
Attending the ceremony was Mr. David Crane, special advisor for jobs and economic growth, Office of the Governor, State of California. ''Honda's continuing growth and investment in California speaks to the vitality of this state as a center for the creation of new products and technologies that benefit the lives of consumers here and around the globe,'' said Crane. ''I would like to commend Honda for their ongoing vision and commitment in making California the place where the latest trends in design are born.''
The groundbreaking ceremony was conducted on the 20th anniversary of the creation of the Acura brand. Launched on March 27, 1986, Acura was the world's first Japanese luxury nameplate and the first Japanese luxury automaker to design, develop and manufacture its vehicles in North America, beginning with the 1997 Acura CL coupe. Today, nearly two-thirds of all Acura vehicles sold in America are researched, designed, developed and manufactured exclusively in North America, including the Acura TL sedan and Acura MDX luxury sport-utility vehicle.
''The Acura brand is stronger today than at any time in its twenty-year history,'' said Dick Colliver, executive vice president of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. and the Acura Division. ''The addition of the Acura Design Center will play an important role in the continuing evolution of Acura, further distinguishing Acura in the marketplace and ensuring that we continue to deliver products ahead of the times and ahead of the competition.''

Honda R & D Americas began its operations in California in 1975 with local market research activities and has steadily grown its capabilities over the past 30 years to include all aspects of new vehicle design and development. Recent development efforts include trend-setting products like the Acura MDX and TL sedan, Honda Ridgeline, Pilot and Element, and the all-new Civic Coupe and Civic Si.
With the addition of the Acura Design Center and the advanced design studio, the company will operate 10 major facilities in North America with more than 1,300 designers, engineers and support personnel engaged in the development of Honda and Acura passenger cars, motorcycles and power equipment products for North America and global markets. Its main centers of operation include the Los Angeles Center (Torrance, CA) responsible for market research, concept development and styling design; the Ohio Center (Raymond, OH) responsible for complete product development, testing and support of North American supplier and manufacturing operations; and two dynamic test facilities in Mojave Desert, California, and East Liberty, Ohio. New Acura MDX Concept Debut At New York International Auto Show

''The designers and engineers working on this new MDX have a tremendous passion for this product that will be evident in all aspects of its design and performance.''
The company made the announcement on the 20th anniversary of its creation as the first Japanese luxury nameplate. ''The pioneering spirit that gave birth to Acura two decades ago is driving our continued advancement and innovative approach to luxury,'' said Colliver. ''Acura is twenty years young today - stronger, faster, more nimble and more on the cutting edge of automotive design and technology than at any time in its 20-year history.''
The company also celebrated the groundbreaking for a new Acura-exclusive design facility - the Acura Design Center - scheduled to open in the summer of 2007. This new facility, located at the company's Torrance, California, headquarters will play a critical role in the research and design of future Acura products and will serve to ensure that Acura continues to produce distinctive designs that communicate the advanced style, performance and character of Acura.
Launched on March 27, 1986, Acura was the world's first Japanese luxury nameplate and the first to challenge established European and American luxury marques with its world-class engineering, product quality, value and advanced powertrain technology. Its 20-year history of innovation includes the first Japanese exotic sports car, the highly-acclaimed Acura NSX, and numerous technology firsts including the first automotive applications of in-dash navigation, Bluetooth(R) phone integration and DVD-Audio surround sound. Honda to build first domestic plant in 30 years
On March 11, 2006 Nihon Kezai News said that Honda Motor plans to build a new major factory in Japan for the first time in 30 years.
The new plant planed to be in Saitama prefecture to make advanced fuel-effient engines by 2008. The initial investments are estimated at 30 billion yen (approx 252 Million dollars). The news paper said that the new plant will produce about 200,000 engines a year.
The Nihon Keizai said Honda plans to first set up production lines for its new VTEC engine, which features both low fuel-consumption and high power, for V-10 engines geared for high-end sports cars and hybrid systems. -

3: Gondolom ez marketing fogás, mivel nem akarják az acurákat egy néven forgalmazni a hondákkal, nem biztos, hogy jót tenne a márkának, mivel ott az acura egy másik kategóriában mozog mind a honda, de szerintem ezt igazán ha valaki tudja itt, akkor integra.
Ha már pedáloknál vagyunk, mire jó az ha visszaváltásnál mind a 3 pedált használják?
Ezért kéne valami zárt pálya, ahol hétvégén ki tudnám kicsit élni a versenyzői oldalamat, de sajnos ilyenről csak álmoshatok, mert P 
écs környékén nincs semmmi pálya, csak a Mecsek kanyargós útjai...
