    I’ve looked into this, and can confirm that recently we’ve made a change to the virtual Curve cards meaning that they have the same card details as that of the physical card. Rest assured, all physical Curve cards are sent out deactivated so there is no risk of unauthorised transactions.

    It’s worth noting that the change was implemented as it meant that customers would not need to update their card details in any digital wallets or anywhere it is saved as a payment method after activating their physical card whilst ensuring that their Curve card details are still secure whilst the physical card is in transit.

    I’m also sorry to hear that you have been having issues adding your Curve Card to Apple Pay. I’ve had a look, and I’m afraid that I’m unable to see any unsuccessful attempts to do this. However, if you are still having trouble using your Curve card with Apple Pay, can you please remove your Curve card from your Apple Wallet and re-add it back using your Curve app? This will allow us to see the outcome of the latest attempt and we can then assist you further if needed.
